Xie Sheng-min

Xie Sheng-min is a Taiwanese artist known for his unique fusion of Taiwanese religious beliefs and Catholicism in his woodblock printmaking. Raised in a Catholic family near the Chaotian Temple in Yunlin County, Xie's works reflect a spirit of peace and freedom, embodying the diverse cultural heritage of Taiwan. He was recently invited by the Taiwanese foreign ministry to showcase his art in the Holy See as part of the Taiwan Culture in Europe 2025 initiative, which aims to enhance cultural ties between Taiwan and Europe.
