Xiomara Brenes is the director of the Asociación Costarricense de Auto Rentistas, a group representing vehicle rental companies in Costa Rica. In light of the current traffic chaos caused by roadworks, she has expressed concern over the negative image tourists are forming about the country, noting the extensive delays that have led to missed flights and a diminished travel experience.
