Yaakov Bernoy

Yaakov Bernoy is a dedicated community leader and the caretaker of a synagogue located near the grave of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Ukraine. A father of ten, he works for the municipality of Elad and devotes his time to overseeing the synagogue during the holidays. This year, he traveled to Uman with several of his children, navigating complex border crossings and security checks to fulfill the spiritual journey that many Breslov Hasidim undertake for Rosh Hashanah.
