Yadi Zhang, also known as Zhimin Qian, is a 47-year-old Chinese national who was recently convicted of possessing and transferring assets obtained through criminal activity in the UK. She played a central role in a large-scale investment fraud scheme that deceived over 128,000 individuals, resulting in losses exceeding 40 billion yuan. Authorities seized over 61,000 bitcoins, valued at approximately $70 billion, from her residence in London, marking one of the largest cryptocurrency confiscations in history.
