Yael Chemides

Yael Chemides, a 40-year-old designer from Ra'anana, Israel, was born in Buenos Aires to a Jewish-Zionist family. She grew up dreaming of moving to Israel, a dream that was delayed due to family ties in Argentina. After eventually marrying her husband, Lisandro, they decided to immigrate to Israel during the COVID-19 pandemic, seeking a better future for their three children. Since moving to Israel, Yael has found success in her career at a software company and has actively contributed to the community by cooking for soldiers during times of conflict. Her journey reflects the challenges and joys of adapting to a new life in Israel while maintaining her Argentinian roots.
