Yagana Bulama

Yagana Bulama is a 40-year-old mother from Nigeria's Borno state, who has been deeply affected by the humanitarian crisis resulting from Boko Haram's insurgency. Once a farmer, she now struggles to care for her surviving infant amid severe malnutrition exacerbated by cuts in international aid, particularly from USAID. Bulama has faced unimaginable loss, having previously lost her triplets to hunger, and now grapples with the death of one of her twins due to a lack of nutritional support.
