Yahyo Ziyayev

Yahyo Ziyayev is an oncologist who recently commented on the claims made by Zoyir Mirzayev, the governor of Tashkent region, regarding the potential protective effects of traditional bread baking in a tandir oven against cancer. Ziyayev clarified that there is no scientific evidence supporting the idea that baking bread in a tandir reduces cancer risk and highlighted that factors such as smoking, alcohol consumption, obesity, and lifestyle choices are established risk factors for cancer. He emphasized the need for evidence-based oncology and pointed out that while certain cooking methods can have psychological benefits, they do not serve as preventative measures against cancer.
