Yair (Roli) Shagai

Yair (Roli) Shagai is a former deputy head of the Shin Bet security service in Israel. He was a candidate for the position of head of Shin Bet, having previously lost the position to Ronen Bar. Recently, he was in the news as he was among the candidates interviewed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the role following Bar's controversial dismissal, which has been subject to legal scrutiny.
