Yair Wisner

Yair Wisner is a 39-year-old former police explosives expert who played a crucial role in defending his community during the October 7 attack. After finishing his shift, he returned home to his family in Kibbutz Kerem Shalom, only to confront a life-threatening situation as armed militants infiltrated the area. Wisner demonstrated extraordinary bravery, engaging in a prolonged firefight until he was severely injured. He has since undergone extensive rehabilitation while remaining hopeful for a brighter future.
