Yan Rufeng

Yan Rufeng is a forestry worker in China who has witnessed the transformative effects of the Grain to Green project on the Loess Plateau. He noted that with the restoration of vegetation, not only did the environment improve, but wildlife, including birds, returned to the area, indicating a revival of the local ecosystem.
