Yang Chenghai

Yang Chenghai, aged 83, is a local historian and passionate advocate for the legacy of the 'Five Heroes of Wolf Tooth Mountain,' having dedicated over fifty years to researching and sharing their heroic stories. Living near Wolf Tooth Mountain, he has a personal connection to the heroes, as one of them was his grandfather's son-in-law. Yang emotionally recalls how, in 1970, one of the surviving heroes, Song Xueyi, returned to pay tribute to his fallen comrades, leaving a lasting impression on him. He continues to volunteer as a guide at the scenic area, ensuring that the sacrifices of these brave soldiers are remembered and honored by future generations.
