Yang Cong

Yang Cong is a dedicated border police officer stationed in Ali, Tibet, where he has served for over 11 years. Originally from Meishan, Sichuan, he moved to Tibet after graduating from China University of Mining and Technology in 2014, driven by a desire to serve his country. Despite facing challenges such as the harsh climate and isolation, he has built strong relationships with the local Tibetan community by learning the language and providing various forms of assistance, earning the affection and respect of the villagers. His commitment to duty and community service has made him a beloved figure, often referred to as the 'living map' of the area.
