Yang Xiaoqing

Yang Xiaoqing is a descendant of a victim of the Chongqing bombings during World War II. Recently, she donated precious documents, including the original court ruling from the Tokyo District Court regarding a lawsuit against Japan for war crimes, to the Chengdu Archives. Yang's activism highlights the ongoing struggle for recognition of the atrocities committed during the bombings, which claimed many civilian lives.
