Yaroslav Yaroslavovich Moskalik

Yaroslav Yaroslavovich Moskalik was a high-ranking lieutenant general in the Russian Armed Forces, serving as the deputy head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff. He played a significant role in military planning and operations, and was involved in international negotiations prior to the war in Ukraine. Moskalik was killed in a car bomb attack in Balashikha, near Moscow, on April 25, 2025, marking a rare occurrence of such a high-ranking military official being targeted on Russian soil.
