Yasin Sharif Al-Hajimi

Yasin Sharif Al-Hajimi is the Chargé d'Affaires at the Iraqi Embassy in Damascus. He has been involved in diplomatic efforts to address the situation surrounding the Al-Hol camp in Syria, which houses families of ISIS members. Recently, he announced plans for a forthcoming international conference in New York aimed at dismantling the camp, highlighting the need for the repatriation of its residents to their home countries.
