Yasuda Michiyo was a highly respected color designer and artist, renowned for her pivotal contributions to the visual aesthetics of Studio Ghibli’s films. As the main color designer for many of Hayao Miyazaki's masterpieces, her work helped define the enchanting and immersive worlds that Ghibli is famous for. Tragically, she passed away two years before the death of co-founder Isao Takahata, marking a significant loss for the studio's creative legacy.
