Yatuta Kaluli Chisiza was a prominent figure in Malawi's nationalist movement during the 1960s, serving as a close associate of Kamuzu Banda before a rift led him to become one of the leaders of a failed armed uprising against Banda's regime in 1967, resulting in his death during combat.
