Yavuz Günaydın, a 45-year-old resident of Kütahya, was recently in the news following a violent incident where he attacked his wife, G.G., with a screwdriver, inflicting 18 wounds during a domestic dispute. After fleeing the scene and evading capture for a time, he was apprehended by police and reportedly expressed intentions to harm multiple relatives if he had not been caught. Following legal proceedings, Günaydın was charged with intentional injury and is currently in custody.
