Yaya Dillo Djerou

Yaya Dillo Djerou was a prominent Chadian opposition leader and cousin of the current president, Mahamat Idriss Déby. He was considered a significant political rival and was killed by presidential guard forces during a raid on his party's headquarters in February 2024, an event that intensified political tensions in Chad.
