Yehuda Aharon Vidbaski, born in 1919 in Poland, was a Holocaust survivor who lived through the harrowing experiences of the Lodz Ghetto and Auschwitz. After the war, he dedicated his life to restoring Jewish cemeteries and identifying graves in Poland, successfully marking over 3,000 Jewish graves. Vidbaski immigrated to Israel in 1950 and became a notable figure in Holocaust remembrance, earning recognition from Yad Vashem. He passed away at the age of 107, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and dedication to preserving Jewish history.
