Yevgeny Boyko

Yevgeny Boyko is a Belarusian activist and educator from Mogilev, known for his dedication to folklore collection and promoting the Belarusian language in kindergartens. He became prominent in student activism, notably for defending fellow students during a KGB visit at his university. Boyko has worked on various projects aimed at cultural preservation and community education, including his initiative 'GarnySvit', which provides biographical interviews with the elderly. He was sentenced to five years in prison for his solidarity with political prisoners and activism against the regime.
