Yoav Bumerind was a talented young man who moved to the United States eight months ago to pursue his dream of becoming a pilot. An accomplished soccer player and a dedicated volunteer with the police, Yoav was adopted from Ukraine when he was just a year old. Tragically, he lost his life in a plane crash shortly after posting a heartfelt tribute on Instagram to a close friend who had fallen in Lebanon.
