Yoav Grunovich

Professor Yoav Grunovich is the head of the plastic surgery department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. He has been instrumental in introducing innovative surgical techniques, particularly in breast reconstruction, to improve the quality of life for women undergoing mastectomies. His recent work includes the development of a new sensory restoration surgery that aims to provide women who have undergone breast removal with a sense of feeling in the area, addressing both aesthetic and emotional needs.
