Yona Kosashvili

Professor Yona Kosashvili is the head of the orthopedic department at Beilinson Hospital, part of the Clalit Health Services group. He has treated over 1,300 injured soldiers from the recent conflict in Gaza, performing amputations on around 40 of them due to severe injuries. Kosashvili is known for his dedication to patient care and his compassionate approach, describing his patients with admiration and focusing on their inspiring resilience in the face of adversity.
