Yong Truong

Yong Truong is a Vietnamese chef and graphic designer who co-founded the popular restaurant YongYong in Trier, Germany, with his partner Esther. Opened in 2007, the restaurant is known for its authentic Vietnamese dishes, particularly the renowned coconut curry noodle soup, which has achieved cult status among locals. Yong’s culinary approach is inspired by his mother's traditional recipes, infused with his own creative twists. In addition to running the restaurant, Yong has a passion for design, evident in the restaurant’s decor and the accompanying concept store that sells design objects, wine, and coffee.
