Yosef (Joe) Jajati

Yosef (Joe) Jajati is a Syrian-American businessman and a member of the Syrian Jewish community. He has been actively visiting Syria since 2018, maintaining a connection with his heritage despite the ongoing complexities of the region. Jajati travels to Syria every two to three months, spending around 20 days there each visit. He has expressed concerns regarding the ownership and control of Jewish properties and sites in Syria, advocating for the rights of the remaining Jewish community members. Recently, he met with Syrian officials to discuss the community's role in the country's rebuilding process and highlighted the need for unity among the diverse factions within the Syrian Jewish diaspora.
