Yoshiris Peña

Yoshiris Peña is the president of the Fine Cacao and Chocolate Association (Ficcap) and also serves as the director of the brand Oro Moreno. She has been instrumental in promoting the potential of Panamanian cacao, advocating for the revitalization of cacao cultivation amidst challenges like generational shifts in production. Recently, she announced plans for activities throughout the year to showcase local cacao to chocolate producers and estate owners, highlighting the significant increase in cacao prices as a potential motivator for more producers to engage in cultivation.
