Yotam Haim

Yotam Haim, a 28-year-old Israeli, was kidnapped by Hamas militants during an attack on October 7, 2023, and was later killed by friendly fire while attempting to escape captivity. He is the only known Israeli hostage from whom sperm was retrieved posthumously, sparking a legal and ethical debate regarding his mother’s hopes for him to become a father after his death.
