Yotam Vilk

Yotam Vilk is a 28-year-old former officer in the Israeli Armored Corps who has publicly refused to continue serving in the military following 270 days of active combat in Gaza. He identifies as a patriot who believes in Israel's right to defend itself, yet he argues that the ongoing war lacks a clear strategy or end goal. Vilk is also a member of Soldiers for the Hostages, a group advocating for the end of the war to secure the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.
