Yousef Ismail

Yousef Ismail is a Sudanese refugee who has been stranded in a camp in Niger for several years. He is one of the voices leading protests against the inadequate living conditions and lack of support from the UNHCR. Ismail has highlighted the dire circumstances faced by refugees, including the cessation of food aid and the absence of basic healthcare, which have resulted in deaths within the camp.
