Yu Qianming
Yu Qianming is a 69-year-old farmer living near the Shandong Youdao Chemical plant in Gaomi, China. Following a deadly explosion at the plant that killed at least five people, Yu expressed concerns about the safety of living in such close proximity to the factory. He relocated his grandchild as a precautionary measure due to lingering smoke and strong odors from the plant, although he felt relatively safe in his home as long as the wind direction remained favorable.
