
Yulia Taratuta
Yulia Taratuta is a Russian journalist and television presenter associated with the independent TV channel Dozhd. She has a notable history in journalism, having previously served as a correspondent for Kommersant, and as the deputy editor of the politics section at Vedomosti. Taratuta was appointed editor-in-chief of the online magazine Wonderzine in 2017 and has been with Dozhd since December 2019. In December 2022, she was designated as a 'foreign agent' by the Russian Ministry of Justice, which led to her current legal troubles. In March 2023, a criminal case was opened against her for evading duties associated with this designation, prompting the Russian Interior Ministry to place her on a wanted list.
