Yunis al-Shtewi

Yunis al-Shtewi is a farmer from the small village of Suwaysah in the Syrian Golan Heights. He became notable for his resistance against Israeli troops that advanced into the region following the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime. Al-Shtewi recalls how he and other villagers confronted the soldiers to protect their homes, which led to confrontations resulting in injuries among residents, including his son.
