Yuri Vladimirov was a distinguished ballet artist and teacher at the Bolshoi Theatre, celebrated for his role as Ivan the Terrible in Yuri Grigorovich's ballet. Born on January 1, 1942, he graduated from the Moscow Choreographic School in 1962 and performed with the Bolshoi for 25 years, taking on numerous significant roles. In 1987, he became a ballet master and mentor to many successful dancers, including Dmitry Gudanov and Ivan Vasilyev.
