Yuriy Bondarenko

Yuriy Bondarenko is a Ukrainian citizen who was sentenced to one year and six months in a general regime colony for insulting Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. His conviction, which took place in Bobruisk, stemmed from remarks he allegedly made about the president in the presence of others, leading to a report by a bystander. Bondarenko, originally from Kropyvnytskyi, has a child and was detained immediately following his accusation.
