Yusuf Davarpanah was a soldier in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps during the early years of the Iranian Revolution. He was known for his bravery and dedication, having participated in numerous operations against counter-revolutionary groups like Komala. Captured by these forces after returning from a leave, he was tortured and ultimately executed for refusing to denounce the revolution. His mother has been described as one of the most tragic mothers of a martyr in Iran, enduring unimaginable pain and loss as she buried her son under harrowing circumstances.
