Yuval Mendelovich
Yuval Mendelovich, the founder of the 'Association for Dangerous Dogs', has dedicated his life to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs considered dangerous in Israel. Following the tragic events of 2004 that led to restrictive laws on certain dog breeds, Mendelovich established his organization to challenge the stigma against these animals. He believes that no dog is inherently dangerous and that aggressive behavior is often a result of abuse and neglect. Operating a large rehabilitation farm in the Galilee, he provides a safe haven for around 160-170 dogs, many of whom have suffered from abuse. Mendelovich actively advocates for more humane legislation regarding dog ownership and is known for his tireless efforts to change public perception on dangerous breeds.
