Yverne Polsbroek

Yverne Polsbroek is the director of Huize Majella, a care facility for seniors in Paramaribo, Suriname. She has been instrumental in organizing events that promote health awareness among the elderly, such as the recent free blood pressure and glucose testing day in collaboration with Lions Club Paramaribo Central. Polsbroek emphasizes the importance of accessible health checks and community engagement, advocating for additional attention to the health needs of both residents and staff. Under her leadership, Huize Majella aims to enhance the quality of elder care while preparing for its 55th anniversary in 2027.
