Yves Picod

Yves Picod is a distinguished magistrate of the Superior Court of Justice, recognized for being the longest-serving member in his role. With a doctorate in law from the University of Dijon, he has also contributed to academia as a professor at the University of Perpignan and co-founded the Centre for Economic Law and Development. His extensive expertise includes publishing manuals on private law, focusing on consumer rights, corporate law, and obligations. As part of the judicial community, he plays a vital role in ethics and legal education, recently announcing his retirement effective June 30 of the following year.
