Z. L. is a 49-year-old unemployed chef with a military rank of sergeant who was recently in the news for threatening police officers during an intervention at a residence in Zagreb. Alongside his friend, he expressed violent intentions and made alarming threats, claiming to possess weapons and vowing to harm the officers. Following the incident, he was sentenced to ten months in prison, which was suspended under the condition that he does not commit further offenses within three years. His participation in the Croatian War of Independence was noted as a mitigating factor in the court's decision.
