
Zafar Gohar
Zafar Gohar is a Pakistani left-arm spinner who has recently gained British citizenship and will play for Middlesex in the County Championship. Born in Lahore, the 30-year-old made his international debut for Pakistan in 2015 in a One Day International against England and later in 2021 in a Test match against New Zealand. Gohar has also participated in the Pakistan Super League, representing teams like Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United. He has established himself in county cricket, notably playing for Gloucestershire where he was the top wicket-taker for the team in 2022. As a skilled spinner, he has taken 118 wickets in 34 first-class matches. In the 2025 season, he will make his debut for Middlesex in the opening match at Lord's.
