Zafar Islam

Zafar Islam is a seasonal trader from Bhola who specializes in selling agricultural products. He buys bundles of straw and raw rice at a price of 35 taka and sells them for 40 taka. Additionally, he offers traditional bamboo mats, known as 'chatayi,' selling them for 240 to 250 taka each, and 'khaitta,' a cutting tool made from tamarind tree wood, which he sells for 200 to 500 taka depending on the size. Zafar invests his savings from driving a van throughout the year into his seasonal business, capitalizing on the demand during festive periods.
