Zahra Abdalla is a Minnesota-based Somali survivor of female genital mutilation (FGM) who speaks out about her traumatic experiences to raise awareness and combat the cultural silence surrounding the practice. She serves as the executive director of the Somaliweyn Relief Agency, advocating against FGM and supporting survivors.
