Zaid Shanshul

Zaid Shanshul is a prominent Iraqi diplomat currently serving as the Chargé d'Affaires at the Iraqi Embassy in Kuwait. He has been in the news recently due to rising diplomatic tensions between Iraq and Kuwait regarding maritime border disputes. Following Iraq's submission of coordinates to the United Nations that Kuwait perceived as a threat to its sovereignty, Shanshul was summoned by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs to receive an official protest.
