Zaiga Jansone-Ivanova

Zaiga Jansone-Ivanova is the daughter of the renowned Latvian basketball player Jānis Jansons, who contributed to the formation of the TTT basketball team. She holds significant memories of her father's achievements, particularly his silver medal win at the 1937 Nāciju kausā in Paris. Zaiga recalls her father's pride in this accomplishment, which inspired her own dreams of becoming an athlete. She has also played a role in preserving her father's legacy by donating his medal to the Latvijas Sporta muzejs.
