Zaitsev is an accomplished swimmer who recently made headlines for his impressive performance in the butterfly sprint at a swimming event. He recorded a time of 22.41 seconds in the morning heats, securing a place in the semifinals with the sixth fastest time. In the semifinals, he improved his performance even further, clocking in at 22.06 seconds, which not only earned him a second-place finish but also set a new Estonian record, surpassing the previous record of 22.15 seconds, and qualified him for the finals.
