Ze'ev Weinberg

Professor Ze'ev Weinberg is an American-Israeli oncologist and surgeon based at the UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, with an affiliate position at Tel Aviv University. Born in Israel in 1973, he is known for his pioneering research in gastrointestinal oncology, particularly focusing on pancreatic cancer. After returning to Israel at age 23 to study medicine at Tel Aviv University, he has spent significant time developing innovative cancer treatments. His recent work on a revolutionary vaccine targeting pancreatic cancer, utilizing advanced mRNA technology and genetic sequencing, aims to enhance immune response and prevent cancer recurrence.
