Zeca Chaúque

Zeca Chaúque is the president of the Fórum das Associações Moçambicanas de Deficientes (FAMOD), a key organization advocating for the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities in Mozambique. He played a crucial role in the recent discussions on the need for systemic changes in legislation that affect the disabled community, highlighting issues of discrimination and barriers to access essential services. His efforts aim to ensure that the voices of people with disabilities are heard in national dialogues and that their concerns are addressed in the upcoming Human Rights Roundtable.
