Zehra Kadumi

Zehra Kadumi is a talented student from Istanbul's Üsküdar Research and Development Education and Application Center (ARGEM), known for her innovative work in space research. She recently gained recognition for co-developing a new astronaut suit that aims to enhance mobility and reduce costs in space missions, which was presented at the 76th International Astronautical Congress in Sydney. Her project incorporates melanin to improve protection against UV radiation and reduce the weight of traditional aluminum plating used in astronaut suits. Kadumi plans to continue her studies in physics at the University of Bremen in Germany, emphasizing the significance of her project in advancing space exploration.
