Željko Vukmirica was a celebrated Croatian actor and educator, known for his innovative contributions to physical theater and his role in shaping the next generation of performers. He gained fame for his one-man show 'Povesti moje gluposti,' which he performed over a thousand times at the Exit Theatre. Vukmirica studied at the Paris Academy of Dramatic Arts and later taught at the Zagreb Academy, leaving a lasting impact on theatrical education. He appeared in over 200 films and television shows, most notably in Tom Stoppard's 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead,' alongside esteemed actors like Gary Oldman and Tim Roth. Vukmirica also co-produced the Oscar-nominated film 'Nausikaja' in 1996.
